Give It A Go Guide

The aim of the Give It A Go Guide is to let you know all the activities there are in Oxfordshire and perhaps inspire you to try something new. We also let you know where to ‘get the gear’ so that you can kit yourself out with the necessary equipment if something really takes your fancy.

If an activity interests you but you don’t wish to participate fully, you can often be involved on the organisational side. Many clubs need assistance ‘behind the scenes’ especially with special events, and this is a great way to get out and about and make new friends with a shared interest. There is also a ‘Volunteering’ section in the guide.

When you are looking for gift ideas for friends and family a gift certificate for an activity is a great present, and you can share the experience with them by joining in too or by going along to watch. Far more exciting than a box of chocolates!
